Leo von Lenny is an adorable 5-6 month old long haired German Shepherd mix puppy. He might be mixed with Aussie, our best guess. Leo is a brave, beautiful and happy boy — he just doesn’t know it yet. This sweet baby came to Westside after running out of options, so scared and worried. With love and kindness he is starting to come out of his shell, one paw at a time. He walks well on a leash, slowly to start but, as his confidence grows, so does his speed. Despite his fears, he looks forward to making new friends with people and pups -- and even cats! When another dog invites him to play, he is on cloud nine! Sometimes we all need a lift when we’re scared and this includes him. When he’s scared, he lets you scoop him up and give him the lift he needs. He’s small- to-medium-sized but looking to grow — in size and confidence. Are you Leo’s hero?
